The ThirdReality Smart Plug Gen2 features power metering and is really easy to add into your network with Zigbee support. This is an inexpensive option to add switching capabilities to anything that plugs in, and the bonus is that you can also monitor the power usage!

Note: The downside we have found with these outlets is they don’t seem to maintain there state when the power is cut. So if they are unplugged or there is a power outage, they will be off until they are triggered or switched on.
